ปลูกในบริเวณชายแดนรวมทั้งการนำเข้าจาก ประเทศเพื่อนบ้านเพิ่ม

   วันที่ 19 พ.ย. 55 พล.ต.พันธ์ศักดิ์ จันทร์ด้ง รองผู้บัญชาการกองบัญชาการเฉพาะกิจศูนย์ปฏิบัติการพลังแผ่นดินเอาชนะยาเสพ ติด กองทัพภาคที่ 3 เปิดเผยว่า กองทัพภาคที่ 3 และศูนย์ปฏิบัติการพลังแผ่นดินเอาชนะยาเสพติด กองทัพภาคที่ 3 ได้จัดทำแผนการปฏิบัติงานการควบคุมพื้นที่และตัดทำลายไร่ฝิ่นในเขตพื้นที่ ภาคเหนือ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2556 โดยมอบหมายให้กองทัพน้อยที่ 3 จัดกำลังพลปฏิบัติงานในศูนย์ตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 พ.ย. 2555 ถึง 30 เม.ย. 2556  ในกองพันทหารปืนใหญ่ที่ 7 ค่ายพระปิ่นเกล้า อ.แม่ริม จ.เชียงใหม่
               ขณะเดียวกันจากข้อมูลการสำรวจและการตัดทำลายไร่ฝิ่นที่ 8 จังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน มีแนวโน้มลดลง ร้อยละ 20-30 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับฤดูการปลูกฝิ่นที่ผ่านมา สาเหตุส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากสภาพอากาศค่อนข้างแปรปรวน ความเข้มงวดและจริงจังของการควบคุมพื้นที่ปลูกของหน่วยงานของรัฐที่เกี่ยว ข้อง ประสิทธิภาพของการตัดทำลายไร่ฝิ่นมีความรวดเร็วทันก่อนที่จะเก็บเกี่ยว
               อย่างไรก็ตามยังคงมีปัจจัยและเงื่อนไขที่จูงใจให้ผู้ปลูกฝิ่นโดยเฉพาะราคา ค่อนข้างสูง จำนวนผู้เสพฝิ่นยังคงมีมาก อีกทั้งยังคงมีกลุ่มบุคคลที่อาศัยประโยชน์จากฝิ่นเพื่อเป็นรายได้และค่าจ้าง แรงงาน จึงเชื่อได้ว่าสถานการณ์ในเรื่องราคาและความต้องการใช้ฝิ่นเพื่อป้อนโรงงาน ผลิตยาเสพติดในเรื่องต่าง ๆ  ยังคงไม่ลดลงและอาจมีการขยายพื้นที่ปลูกในบริเวณชายแดนรวมทั้งการนำเข้าจาก ประเทศเพื่อนบ้านเพิ่มอีกHP Pavilion dv6 6b26us 15.6" Laptop (i3 2330M Processor
